Chapter Committees
Training and Certification Committee:
Manages and works with other committees to provide chapter training and certification needs.
Membership Committee:
Promotes chapter membership. Develops and implements programs designed to increase membership.

Legislative Committee:
Tracks legislation within Kansas that may affect solid waste management professionals and their operations. Informs and educates members of significant proposed legislation.
Technical Committee:
Ensures the accurate and timely dissemination of information on waste management facility permitting, design, construction operations as well as technology transfer for recycling, transfer stations, landfills and other technical issues.
Road-E-O Committee:
To provide a professional forum for solid waste drivers and operators to showcase their skills in an environment that promotes safety and education.
Newsletter Committee:
Produces SWANA Kansas Sunflower Chapter quarterly newsletter. Ensures active communications continue within chapter.
